This antique copper double jigger measure dates to the early 1900s and reflects the practical elegance of historic barware. Featuring a cylindrical measuring cup with a turned wooden handle, the piece combines warm copper craftsmanship with a comfortable grip designed for steady pouring and precise measuring.
The jigger cup measures 3.75 inches tall with a 2-inch diameter, and the full piece measures 9.5 inches in length. The interior is silver-lined, a traditional finish used in early barware to protect the copper while making it suitable for measuring spirits and other liquids.
Inside the measuring chamber are graduated markings of 1, 2, and 3 on one side, and 2 on the opposite side, which were commonly used in early cocktail tools to indicate fluid ounce measurements. These markings allowed bartenders to measure different quantities depending on which side of the jigger was facing forward, making it a versatile tool for classic cocktail preparation.
Selected as part of the Coppermill Kitchen Heirloom Collection, this piece captures the character of historic cocktail culture.
